Fees

Waiting Room
  • The normal consult fee is $60. We are able to perform online claiming for patients who pay at the time of consultation.
  • Other fees depend on the degree of complexity and are available from the receptionist.
  • Out of hours consults will be billed at a higher than normal rate and will not be discounted.
  • Fees are based on the AMA recommendations.
  • The Federal Government determines the rebate you receive from Medicare
  • Old Age Pensioners will be bulk billed or receive a rebate account.
  • Discounted accounts will be given if appropriate. Please discuss this with the GP.
  • Bookkeeping fees will be added to over due accounts.

The GPs have admitting privileges to Bunbury regional Hospital and SJOG Bunbury. Specialist consultations can be arranged if considered necessary.

Patient Feedback

We welcome feedback from you, both negative and positive, given in a constructive manner. Please do so to the available staff if you are happy to divulge this. If confidentiality is desired, please write to us or contact the practice manager to discuss the issue.

Transfer of Medical Records

We are happy to transfer relevant medical records to another Doctor but to ensure compliance with privacy regulations we require patients who are subject of the request to sign permission. We also require the requesting Doctor to specify which records are required.
This reduces the chances of unnecessary information being transferred (especially as many records are now computer based) and allows patients to decide which records they consider to be relevant.
