- Consultations are by appointment. These can be made by phone or
in person.
- If you think you may need a long appointment please ask when
booking.
- If you need other members of your family to be seen please
ensure they have their own appointment time. Adding extra to a
single appointment means you may have a rushed consult and also
affect the next person.
- Please inform the surgery if you are unable to attend an
appointment. Someone else may need your spot.
Urgent Appointments
- If you think your problem is urgent and there are no appointments
available, the receptionist will ask the the practice nurse to assist you.
Telephone Calls
- Telephone calls for advice can be made during the
day. These will be taken by the Pratice Nurse who will provide the relevant advice.
Home Visits
- Are decided on an individual basis by the treating doctor.
After Hours
- Telephone medical advice is available after hours by ringing the surgery number.
- When the surgery is unattended a recorded message will advise how the on-call Dr can be contacted.
- Remember, GPs sometimes go out, and the number you ring may give another number to ring. Please be patient.
- GPs may arrange to meet you at the surgery after hours to consult in an emergency.
- Please note that a higher fee is charged for out of hours call outs and this is not discounted.
- Free emergency treatment is available at the Bunbury Regional Hospital emergency department.
